Michael Cota
"I’m inspired by people with a dream. As I paint I try to capture those elusive dreams and bring them to life. I hope my art ignites the flame in the viewer's heart. I believe we all have a purpose for our life. Something we were meant to do to impact the people we meet during the time we have. We all have greatness inside of us, and I want to encourage people to keep chasing after it."
Michael Cota was born in Los Angeles, California in 1999. He graduated from the Milan Art Institute in 2019. His artwork can be described as graphic expressionism. Specializing in oil painting & mixed media, his portrayal of figures encapsulates intimacy & creates a vivid story with every brush stroke. He often finds inspiration from digital art and incorporates a similar graphic style to his paintings.
Michael continues to live and work in New York City.
